Titanuim Cover by KC :p

Gia and I have done this cover before, but without an actual video. We were still a bit shy that time I guess, so we just made our cover song as background music to a photo of us two.

When my mom posted the cover on her Facebook page, it got a lot of likes and compliments, all of which pertaining to how pretty my sister and I are. Apparently, not everyone knew that it was Gia and I who were singing, while Gia's also playing the guitar. Hahaha!

So we decided to re-do the cover with an actual video this time. :D Thank you in advance, for watching! And apologies for the poor video quality. :p

So, how do you guys find it? Should we just stick with putting pictures of us instead in our future covers? Hahaha! :p

Covers

Aside from my love for cooking and baking, I also love to sing. Even before 'covers' started to invade the web, I already had a couple of 'em posted here in my blog. They were actually songs from my album 'Sharing the Love', which I made for our project back in college. :p

If there's someone who's fond of doing covers, that would be our cousin, Jules. He has this very soothing and soulful voice which makes me fall in love over over whenever I hear him sing.

I love doing duets with him when they were still here in the Philippines. Together with his younger sister, Aerielle, who also plays the guitar so well, they make covers that make me a proud cousin and an avid fan! :)

Tree Top Adventure Subic

Aside from the lovely beaches, hotels, and restaurants, Subic is also known for its adventure spots.  Mark and I have already been to Zoobic Safari and Ocean Adventure, but there's one more place that we haven't been to, and that's Tree Top Adventure. So after a hearty breakfast at Asian Spices, Mark and I went off for some extreme adventure! :D

We went straight to the information area and were ushered to the holding area for some briefing. Together with the rest of the guests, we got briefed on the different adventures and adventure packages that we mail avail at Tree Top.  After which, we were asked to fill up a form and pay at the cashier.

There were a number of adventures to choose from which you may avail separately or through adventure packages which come in a more affordable price. Mark chose the Adventure Package E which includes Canopy Ride and Canopy Walk, Superman Ride, and Tree Drop Adventure. Rate is at Php 620.00/person. These adventures really made Mark excited but not the scaredy cat in me, so I just opted for Adventure Package B. The package is almost the same with package E, with Canopy Ride, Canopy Walk, and Superman Ride, but just minus the Tree Drop Adventure.  Rate is at Php 500.00/person.

Mark and I first went to try the Canopy Ride.  We had a little briefing, were equipped with harnesses and hard hats, and then off we went!

Just like every extreme sport which involves heights, the scariest part for me would always be the part wherein you'll have climb a flight of stairs to the reach the platform, mount the ride/machine, on a platform way above the ground, and then let go! I just always have a hard time in letting go. Haha!

Happy 400 Years UST!!! Viva Santo Tomas!!!

Today marks the 400th year of my (and my parents') Alma Mater. The week long celebration started last Saturday, January 22, with an alumni homecoming for each college organized by the Alumni. There were also different events like parades and fairs over the week, yesterday was the UST Quadricentennial Countdown, and today is the Quadricentennial Thanksgiving Mass and Grand Alumni Homecoming.

My parents and I, who are all from the UST College of Engineering, attended the UST@400 Eng'gahling (Engineering Grand Alumni Homecoming).

Mom and I, Proud Tomasinos!

Too bad I wasn't able to come to the rest of the events. :( I was stuck at home last night because of headache and clogged nose and I wasn't able to attend the UST Quadricentennial Countdown, so I just settled for live video streaming.

All the students and alumni seemed to be enjoying the event. There were bands and different performances. My favorite part was when the UST Hymn was sung and of course, everyone's much awaited part was the fireworks display.

The UST hymn and the pyromusical gave me goosebumps! They were just so beautiful! Here's a video of the UST Quadricentennial Countdown fireworks display. :)

I also love the UST Quadricentennial Song. I just feel so proud to be a Tomasino!

Happy 400 years UST! 400 years of Unending Grace!

Ikaw...

I am really not that good in expressing myself verbally, and everytime I feel like telling something, beautiful songs with heart-warming messages become my outlet of telling how I feel..

Mark, I know these past few months had been so hard for both of us. I may not always show how I value you and I just can't find the right words to tell you how much you mean to me, so let me say I love you in a song..

Here is my version of the song "Ikaw"..this song is for you!

If I'm Not In Love...

The song "If I'm not in Love" was originally sung by Kathy Trocolli. This is one of my favorite songs and I really love the message of the song...it is like telling me that:

Sometimes we get confused on what we feel. We sometimes ask ourselves why we keep on doing the things that we do; why we keep on waiting even if we're not sure if it will come; why we keep on holding on even if it hurts...And most of the time we keep on searching for the right answers when in fact the answer is very clear. We are indeed in Love. :)

I really love this song that I recorded my own version of it. :) Here's my rendition of the song "If I'm not in Love"...

The Sweetest Gift ^_^

I was busy organizing the files in my pc when I saw this...a video that I created for Mark as a gift for our 4th year anniversary last August 27, 2008.

I never really was a "techy" person and I'm not really good in making hi-tech video presentations. But with the help of movie maker, a heart-warming song, unforgettable precious moments, and a heart that truly loves, I was able to make a masterpiece! hahaha! I guess that's why Mark quoted these in
his multiply site:

"the sweetest gift that I ever had...this video really made me cry.."

Are you going to finish strong?

A must-see video..very inspiring! This one really touched my heart. I got teary-eyed after watching it..

Nick Vujicic has no arms or legs but has come to terms with his lot in life and he delivers an inspirational speech to these kids that they will probably never forget..Hope this one touches your heart the way it touched mine..
