How to Achieve the Perfect Work, Family, and Education Balance

Learning doesn't have to stop once you graduate with a degree. Life is a continuous learning process. I, for one, still have a lot of things to learn especially in the IT field. I've been thinking of going back to school or taking online courses and certifications to enhance my IT knowledge and skills. But more often than not, I sometimes brush away the idea of getting back to school thinking that I might not be able to juggle it with my already busy daily life.

But I also realized that even though you have a family and you are working, it doesn’t mean that you have to give up your education. Many people manage to pursue their learning endeavors while still keeping everything else in balance. It takes a lot of organization and work to make it work, but the benefits are not only a happy you, but also a happy family. Here are some of the best tips to help you juggle your commitments.

Renting a Room in Dubai

These are all the things you need to know about renting a room in Dubai. Remember it’s always important to vigorously research this topic, this way when you get there you won’t be surprised or shocked about anything because you will be well informed.

Become Aware of the Laws
When looking for a room for rent in Dubai, get to know their renting laws. This can really help you out if a landlord ever tried forcing you to pay an amount that you never agreed upon in your fifth month of being there.

Real Estate Regulatory Agency
Any brokers or agents that you rent with must be registered in this agency if they aren’t they could end up ripping you off by thousands and sometimes millions of dollars.

Contract
When looking for apartments for rent in Dubai, make sure you are registered with Ejari because this protects your rights and gives you a real legalized tenancy contract. So if any problems were to ever happen this will be a solid document that will help you.

Deposits
Security deposits must be written in your Ejari and blue tenancy contract by the brokers. This amount is usually refundable once you have left the property.

Overcrowding
Large families cannot stay in flats or villas in Dubai because overcrowding is prohibited.

Brokers
Look for great deals by different brokers and choose which one is best for you, don’t settle for the first one that you find.

Get Insurance
Make sure you get either home or contents insurance because if a fire or a flood were to ever happen a tenant is not always responsible for reimbursing you unless stated otherwise in your contract with them.

Sign Up Online
Easily register your apartment with Dubai’s Land Department and Ejari online by registering your tenancy contract through the online system provided by Ejari. Simply complete eight steps of registering your apartment and you’re good to go, just make sure you made your online payment and that you have hard copies of everything when needed.

Utility Services
After you have paid for your apartment you can easily get internet, water and electricity. For water and electricity, you can easily apply online on the Dubai Electricity and Water Authorities (DEWA) website.

Know Your Rights
A lot of times when landlords demand an increase on rent from their tenants, the tenants end up just leaving. However, if your landlord has not given you a 90-day advance notice on the risen cost then they are not entitled to one.

History of the Cocktail Dress

In general, the cocktail dress as a dress style is something between the festive and business clothes. Cocktail dress is a shortened gown for the solemn events, without collar and sleeves, which is usually worn in a combination with open shoes. The cocktail dress first appeared in USA in 1920s, at the height of the era of "Prohibition" and Jazz Age, when the female look was dramatically changing and the evening dresses were becoming shorter and plainer. The cocktail dresses were worn for private parties where people were served with alcohol drinks and jazz music was played.

The cocktail dress got its name from the special drink. It is usually served at the cocktail party. "Shady Lady", "Pink Rose" or "Fallen Angel" are the names of those most famous cocktails which contributed to the inspiration of outspoken designers to create the unique outfits. The designers used such tissues as chiffon and silk. Only expensive fabrics were taken. Evening attires were more official than the cocktail dresses. The cocktail dresses, in their turn, were different from the casual clothes by its elegance and sophistication.

5 Top Ideas for an Unforgettable Hen Party

Any wedding is always about some pleasant ado: choosing a stunning wedding dress, comfortable shoes and many other nice little things for the bride and groom. A hen party is a nice way to take a rest of the wedding preparations and have fun with your best friends. Do you want some unusual, exciting and joyful party? Below you’ll find 5 original ideas to make this event emotionally positive and catchy for a long time.

Pajama Party
The dress code here is pretty strict: only pajamas and beautiful nightgowns. Such party should be held better at your home place. A party plan should necessarily include dancing on a bed to the slapping hit Pretty woman, a pillow battle, and watching some heartwarming melodramas and romantic comedies. As a treat for such party you may have light snacks and hot alcohol drinks such as mulled wine.

Thematic Party
In order to make your girlish gatherings unforgettable and fun, you can organize them in a certain style. The place of gathering does not really matter but your guests should stick to the chosen style or theme. This can be a Hawaii party, a party in a Gatsby style, or a princess hen party where all girls should wear special occasion dresses. Everything should correspond to the party idea: musical arrangement, treat, decoration of the room, presents, etc.

A Hen Party in Motion
It’s not necessary to stay at home or at a certain place during your hen party. You can move around the city in a luxurious limousine, listen to the music, drink Champagne and eat chocolate. Or you can rent a retro car and join the atmosphere of glamour, gloss and sophisticated elegance, following the jazz songs. After such ride you can go to the club and party there all night long, until the very morning.

Eco Hen Party
A hen party is a good occasion to go outside the city to the nature, far away from the polluted and noisy streets. This can be a trip to the country house or a forest campaign, or a walk along the river or a lake. Here you can organize a picnic by the bonfire with songs and exciting life stories, boat riding, contests for the most beautiful wreath and girlish divinations.

Sea Adventure
A luxury romantic yacht ride will make you remember it for a very long time. If the summer weather and your budget allow you do this, you can rent a yacht with a crew. You may sunbathe, dance to the rhythmical music and drink Champagne. It is recommended to prepare in advance some wildflowers which can be later used for making a bridal wreath. At the end of the walk the bride can put the wreath into the water, thus symbolizing a farewell to her unmarried life.

The ideas for a hen party can be various but the most important thing is your good mood. A hen party is better to be held 1 or 2 weeks before the wedding, don’t leave it for the very last night.

Preparing for Your Citrix Certification Exam

SPONSORED POST

The professional certification exams offered by Citrix are meant to be challenging. They are designed to measure true competence and not just a passing understanding of Citrix products and technologies. As such, Citrix exams require you to dedicate ample time and energy to preparing for your tests.

To achieve success – particularly when you lack hands on or real world experience in the technology in which you intend to measure your competence – you’ll need to focus your preparation activities and try to encompass as much lab work or experience attainment as possible into your study regimen.

Citrix offers training courses to prepare candidates for each of its professional certification exams. Included in most courses is a lab section, often as a virtual lab format, allowing candidates to boost their hands on experience and test their acquired knowledge. Even candidates that decide to take self-paced courses in online formats are offered virtual labs to hone their skills.

Additionally, you’ll want to investigate and employ other exam prep options, including any range of study resources and practice techniques. Every candidate learns differently, and only you know what you need to adequately prepare for your Citrix certification exam. That being said, you will want to consider the use of tutorials and practice exams, like those offered by providers like TestsLive.com. Tutorials and practice exams are both helpful in gauging your learning and your overall testing readiness prior to taking your Citrix certification exam(s).

Regardless of which study methods you choose to employ when preparing to take a Citrix exam, odds are you’ll need to spend a minimum number of hours each week on your studies, with most candidates saying ten is sufficient.
