If there's one person who's so much into nail polishes, that would be my mom. Although my dad doesn't really want polished nails, my mom still sees to it that she has her nails polished all the time. She's not fond of going to salons to have her nails done though, because she does her own manicure and pedicure for her nails.

She's not so particular with nail polish brands, just as long as she likes the color she'll definitely have it on her nails. :) This is the latest addition to her nail polish collection:

Jolly Jelly, Neon Yellow, Neon Orange, Neon Fuchsia, Neon Green

I love how adventurous she is when it comes to nail polish colors. It's amazing how my mom can sport any nail polish color from plum, to avocado, to neon and glow in the dark shades, unlike me who always use safe colors like nude and pearl. The loudest color that I can have would be red, and that would only be for special occasions. :p

I wanted to try out my mom's new nail polish colors but didn't know what to wear, so I had her try all the colors on her nails. :)

I liked the Jolly Jelly shade the most. I think I can also handle sporting the Neon Fuchsia shade. Will definitely try them on my nails soon, I just need to grow them a little longer. :)

Just wanna share my new find: Caress Sea Pink nail polish. :)


Saw this earlier at a mall and I immediately fell in love with it. :p I actually love this more than Chic's Neon Fuchsia.

I immediately applied it on my nails when we got home. :p I applied 3 coats of the Caress Sea Pink nail polish and a colorless polish as top coat. Here are my Sea Pink nails. ^_^

If we are not going to malls, we usually go to supermarkets to shop for groceries on Sundays right after hearing mass.

My sister saw this nail polish near the counter at the health care section of the supermarket, one Sunday, while my mom was paying for the groceries. I thought it would look good on my nails so I bought it. :p


I wanted to try in on my nails, but I am still loving my misty red nails, so I just had my mom and my sister try it on their nails. :)

I love Caronia Cashmere's pinkish/purplish shade. I just can't wait to try it on my nails! :D

It was only less than a week since I sported my neon fuchsia nails but I had to change it yesterday because the polish on my right pinky chipped off. :p

Since it's Chinese New Year and they said that red is the lucky color, I decided to put my mom's Colortrends Misty Red nail polish on my nails.

I don't usually wear dark colored nail polishes so I was kind of hesitant in trying on the misty red nail polish. Red is my second favorite color next to pink. :) And I think red looks good too on my nails. :p

I usually wear my nails short without nail polish. I wear nail polish every once in a while, but I only use light shades like nude, pearl, or platinum.

But I think I can never really resist anything that is pink! :p I saw this in my mom's nail polish box last night and I found myself applying it on my nails in no time.

I just hope I can wear my pink nails for at least a day or two. Nail polishes don't really last long on my nails because I tend to remove my nail polish, even if I've just applied it, once I notice some scratches. And yes, I'm a brat that way haha! :p

Went out last Saturday with my sister Gia. Went to Posh Nails to have our nails done.

Gia and I immediately fell in love with the place the moment we entered the shop. There were Pink and Purple things all over the place, from the walls, pillows, and stools, to tabletop decors, lamps, and the attendants' aprons. :)

Aside from the cute interior, the service was good as well. We were greeted with a smile by the receptionist who led us to the couch. Gia and I chose the Posh Grooming.

Pillows and towels were laid the moment we were seated on the couch, then a warm foot bath and scrub was done, as we chose the color of the nail polish that we want.

Two nail technicians were attending to each customer, one who does the manicure, and one for the pedicure. We really felt like we're princesses! Haha!


A massage was also done after the manicure and pedicure, before finally putting on the nail polish, and then the quick dry spray. Such a posh way to pamper our hands and feet. :)

I usually go by myself to the salon to have my hair cut or my nails done. And whenever it's time to have my nails done, I would usually just have my toe nails done. I would also opt not to have my nails polished.

But this time was different. Just this afternoon, I had my finger and toe nails done, and polished too. :) Plus, I got to do it with my dear sister. :)

Gia also had her nails done. We chose the same color for the nail polish, but she opted to have nail art done on her nails. She chose the floral pattern.

After putting the maroon nail polish, a white nail polish was placed on a metal stencil. A rubber stamp was rubbed on the stencil which was then stamped on to each nail. It turned out really nice and neat.

I would have wanted to have it done on my nails too, but my nails were really small haha!
