Savory Lunch with Mommy

Had to go to LTO in Pasig a couple of weeks back to process some documents for my car. Still haven't been there so I was badly in need of someone to accompany me. Good thing mommy also needed to have her driver's license renewed so she came along. :)

We learned that the renewal of driver's license wasn't available that time at LTO Pasig, so we just had our car documents processed (which took almost 4 hours) and just decided to renew mommy's license at Robinsons Metro East (which took only around 15 minutes). After having completed our agenda, which was way past lunch time, we finally got the time to eat!

Mommy chose to dine at Classic Savory and, since it's already late and my tummy's already screaming for food, I just immediately agreed. This is one of the few restaurants that our family frequents. Yup, Classic Savory's dishes, their chicken specifically, passed daddy's taste! :p Mommy and I got their an order of the Savory Chicken Combo Meal, which is already good for two, and a serving of their corn soup.

Sundate with Jaoey

Went out on a date with my baby brother last Sunday. Well I was just actually scheduled to deliver some cupcakes at SM Masinag that time. Good thing I was able to convince my baby brother to accompany me, after I promised him that we'd have lunch at his favorite pizza chain and that I'll treat him afterwards with anything that he likes hahaha! :p

We got to the mall a little after 11am. After meeting up with my client, we headed straight to Sbarro for lunch. Aside from KFC, Jaoey's second favorite fast food chain is Sbarro. He has just began to love dining here when we started going out on Sundays with Mark's mom a few years back, and a slice of cheese pizza plus orange soda would be his default orders.

Lunch Date at Mama Chit's

Since I was absent from the blogosphere for more than a month, I think I owe you guys a more decent post than the previous one, so I thought of delaying my backlogs a little bit and share with you my most recent food trip with my family. :)

After my morning routine (morning run, morning mass, and breakfast) last Monday, I decided to tag along my mom and my brothers, Chino and Jaoey, since I will be running some errands for Mark. We went to Manila to visit Mark's mom and to hand her some stuff from Mark. It was already past lunch time, but since we were all still full from our breakfast, instead of supposedly having lunch at Robinsons Manila, we decided to have it at Mama Chit's in Marikina.

It was actually our second time to check the place out. Our first time wasn't that successful though. It was a Saturday and we weren't able to dine there since the place was packed so we decided to dine elsewhere.

Summer fun with the Family at Ocean View in Subic

Okay, so it's already June but I'm still not done with my summer posts. Will you guys forgive me and allow me to just squeeze in this one? :D

A few days after our day tour at Cristina Villas, we again got to enjoy another summer fun, at the beach, but this time without my mom and my older brother. Last April 20, Gia, Jaoey, and I were tagged along by my dad for their company outing at Ocean View Resort in Subic.

Although I've been to Subic a lot of times already, it was my first time to be with my family so I still got excited. Jaoey was the most excited because it was his first time again (after almost 7 years I think) to hit the beach. We left the house early and got to the resort after almost a 3-hour drive. We were provided with breakfast while waiting for our room to be setup.

Fun Sunday with the Family at the Flavorful Fete at Centris Walk

Had a very fun and enjoyable time with my family last Sunday as we experienced an afternoon of culinary feast at the recently concluded Flavorful Fete at Eton Centris Walk.

Before the program started, we got to roam around and check the booths surrounding the area. There were a lot of exciting booths which were specially-prepared for moms and families. There's the Faber Castel booth were kids got to enjoy some coloring books and coloring pens for free.

Family Fun at Altaroca

Had some family fun over at Altaroca Mountain Resort here in Antipolo last Monday, August 8. Daddy was on leave from work so it was a perfect time for some summer fun. Her sisters were also free that time so we invited them over. My cousin, Aya, and Mark were also tagged along. :)

The resort is just a few minute drive away from our house. We had our breakfast at home and got to the resort around 9am. Since the owner of the resort is my daddy's friend, checking in was a breeze. The resort was big enough, with 3 pools (a kiddie pool, a lap pool, and a pool lounge), a few huts, some tree house, a cafe and bar, and a hotel with function rooms and a grand ballroom.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

It's Valentine's Day today! How did you guys spend your day? I spent mine with no less than my loves: my family and Mark. :)

Mark and I went out earlier today for his checkup. After his checkup we went to the mall and feasted on congee and DQ Blizzard for lunch since he's still on soft diet.  We did some shopping after lunch and then watched Safe Haven. :D

We headed home and had a simple dinner with my family and we all had a wonderful time!

As simple as our Valentine's celebration may be, I still enjoyed today. Nothing still compares to a love-filled day with your loved ones!

Hello 2013!!!

Happy Grandparents' Day!

Since today is the second Sunday of September, all grandparents are again being recognized today, well at least here in the Philippines, as we celebrate the Grandparents' Day. :)

Earlier today, after hearing mass, we went to Tita Tessa's house in Quezon City. She prepared her specialties for our lunch feast.

August Birthday Celebrators :)

The first two Sundays of August mean birthday feasts for our family. :D Last August 5, my mom celebrated her 49th birthday. Yup, she doesn't mind having her age published here because she looks way younger! :D

She doesn't look her age, does she?

Since the food that we have during any feasts is always cooked by our dear daddy, we always do a merienda-to-dinner celebration to make time for the preparations.

Swimming Party at Loreland Farm Resort

Date of visit: January 2, 2012

Was off from work on the first working day of 2012, because I was nursing a sprained ankle and lower back pains from a minor accident on New Year's Eve. But that didn't stop me from having some fun with my family on my special day. :)

We still had lots of food from the New Year celebration plus the weather was really good so we decided to have a pre-birthday celebration by having a swimming party. After preparing all our stuff and food for the swimming party, we went off and searched for a nice resort in Antipolo.

We didn't think that we'll be having a hard time in searching for a place since we thought that most of the people were at their provinces to celebrate the holidays. But we were surprised when the resorts that we eyed were all packed. Even the private pool resorts that we usually frequent were already booked.

Since a lot of our time were already wasted, we all agreed to have the celebration at Loreland Farm Resort. We don't really frequent this resort because of one reason: the place is always packed! But then again, we still decided to give it a try. We didn't book ahead of time, but if you're planning to book ahead, you can book Loreland Farm Resort, Antipolo City with Traveloka.

We were supposed to get the floating nipa hut, unfortunately it was already booked. We roamed around the place to search for a nice spot until we finally saw Phase 3 which was vacant, perfect for our swimming party!

Here's a photo of the Phase 3 pool. I was really tired from the long walk around the area so I didn't have the energy to take photos of the rest of the pools.

We went back to the admin office just to be told that Phase 3 was closed for the day. Ugh! We were told that most of their pools were closed for maintenance, and all the open pools were already booked. We were walking around the place under the scorching sun and were already losing hope until we came across the lifeguard of the Phase 3 pool who confirmed that the pool was open for the day. So we had to go back to admin office (which was really far from the pool area) to book Phase 3, but the personnel just won't allow us. My dad and I also had an argument with the personnel as she was insisting that Phase 3 was closed! Until finally she was able to talk to the lifeguard and confirmed that we can book the place.

Welcoming the Year of the Dragon

I know this post is way too late, but January still hasn't ended so I guess I can still squeeze this in. :p

Another simple yet super fun celebration with the family transpired on New Year's Eve which started out on merienda. :) I was craving for pizza so I ordered from Shakey's.

Belly Buster

Classic Cheese

Mojos

Jeff also came in time for merienda and brought some donuts.

Gonuts Donuts

We also didn't prepare much for Media Noche. Just like during Christmas Eves, we also usually have New Year's Eve dinners. Here are what we feasted on during our New Year's Eve dinner:

Tuna Carbonara Pork Barbecue
Cream Dory Beef Caldereta
Peach Float Puto Cake
Chicken Macaroni Salad Fruit Salad
Chestnuts Fruits

After dinner, we had some drinks and chitchat while waiting for midnight.

Jaoey's drink
Cheers!

We also started to light the firecrackers and sparklers that daddy bought.

The Mastermind :p

We also thought of creating a 2012 sign out of the sparklers. :D I took charge of taking the photos while Gia, Jeff, Jaoey, and daddy made the sign. After a few practices,

they finally made it. :)

Hello 2012!

Come midnight we all welcomed the new year as we enjoyed watching the fountains.

We went out on the streets and rejoiced as sounds of firecrackers and cheers filled the air and colorful lights wrapped the skies.

On New Year's day, we started the day by thanking the Lord for the past year

and praying for more blessings, love, and a prosperous year ahead. :)
