I'm sure by now your feeds have already been flooded with a lot of pictures of flowers, and here I am, even making a blog post out of it! Haha! I don't intend to annoy you. I just wanna share the story behind the bouquet of roses that I received today. It's probably something new to you.

I have a confession. Mark and I have been together for almost 13 years, but it's the first time today that I received a bouquet from him. Oh, no, don't get me wrong. Mark has been the sweetest. He's been showering me with a lot of gifts for the past years. It's just that, the moment we became together, I initially made myself clear for him not to give me any flowers especially on Valentine's Day.

Saw this in my drive while I was sorting out some files. I made this illustrations years back for a friend's wedding invitation. :)

Got this "Love Is..." quotes on the net and thought of making an illustration out of it. Drew it in a bond paper using pencil, outlined it with sign pen, scanned it, and then colored it in Photoshop. :)

And because today is Valentine's Day, I guess it's just very fitting for this post. :D

It's Valentine's Day today! How did you guys spend your day? I spent mine with no less than my loves: my family and Mark. :)

Mark and I went out earlier today for his checkup. After his checkup we went to the mall and feasted on congee and DQ Blizzard for lunch since he's still on soft diet.  We did some shopping after lunch and then watched Safe Haven. :D

We headed home and had a simple dinner with my family and we all had a wonderful time!

As simple as our Valentine's celebration may be, I still enjoyed today. Nothing still compares to a love-filled day with your loved ones!

Mark and I have been apart for half a year now. I must admit that I'm still not used to him being not around, but this didn't stop me from being in love. :)

Thank God there's my family, we had not just one but 2 celebrations. ^_^

We had a pre-valentine dinner date at Bamboo Asia Grill last Saturday, February 12.

And a pre-valentine lunch at home yesterday.

Now who said that Valentine's Day is just for couples and lovers? ^_^
