After my checkup yesterday, we went to a guitar store in Sta. Mesa and bought Jaoey his early birthday gift.
We then went to Tom's World and World of Fun in SM Centerpoint and played the arcade cranes.
We all got hungry and decided to have merienda at Pizza Hut. Jaoey immediately grabbed the menu and ordered a personal 3 Cheese Pan Pizza. He started munching on it after I was able to take a photo of it.
I've been wanting to try the Mozzarella Sticks since I read a lot of good reviews about it and the photo in the menu was really tempting, so I got one order of it. I was actually thinking of getting two orders since the sticks seem small and thin, but I was also hesitant since none of us has really tried it before. I drooled the moment the mozzarella sticks were served, they were actually a lot bigger than I thought. I fell in love with it at my first bite! The marinara dip also made the dish more delectable. *drools*
Gia, Jeff, and I all wanted pizza and pasta so we all agreed to just order the Family Feast. For Php 749, a group of 4 can enjoy one Supreme Family Pan Pizza, Fettuccine a la King, Spaghetti with Meatballs, Ceasar Salad, and 4 glasses of soda.
Ceasar Salad was served first. We were all hungry that the salad plate was empty in no time.
It's been a long time since we had pan pizza from Pizza Hut. The pizza was good and I was already full just with one slice, but I still prefer thin crust pizzas. :)
The Fettuccine a la King was a hit for all of us. The generous amount of ham and chicken sautéed in a light cream sauce were perfect for our taste. The dish was not too salty and I believe what made it more delectable were the bell peppers.
Since the pasta serving was generous, the 3 of us just shared on the fettuccine. We were already full so we just had the spaghetti wrapped.
Gia wanted to have dessert so she ordered the Dip-licious. It's a a platter of fresh banana, mangoes, and marshmallows served with a rich chocolate dip. We ordered it ahead and just had it served when we were halfway through our merienda, but it took us a couple of follow-ups before it was served.
The food was fine, yes, but I was not impressed with the service. Their waiting staffs were all inattentive and were all hooked up with the car show by the window. -_-
