Japanese Food Fix at Sushi Express Cafe

Just like almost every corner in Dubai, with restaurants sprawling the vicinity, Jumeirah Lake Towers is also becoming a haven for foodies. JLT is not somewhere which Mark and I would usually choose to go, especially if we're looking for a place to dine, as there are already a number of restaurants near our home. And admittedly, we only get to visit JLT during invites for food reviews. :p

Chawlas2: A Taste of Punjab in Dubai

A couple of weekends back, Mark and I got to experience a culinary journey to Punjab—not the actual Indian state, but in Chawlas2 at Jumeriah Lake Towers (JLT). :p Being in Chawlas2 is like stepping into Punjab, which is what the restaurant promises. I haven't been to India, so I can't really tell, but there's one thing that's definitely true—Mark and I enjoyed our dining experience at Chawlas2!

Quick Bites: Chicken Biryani and Chai from Buzz Adda

I always thought that I should only post reviews here in my blog if I get to eat in the actual restaurant, so I can point out more specific details not just about the food but also about the restaurant as a whole—ambience, service, dining experience, and all—but then again, I realized how it would be unfair to curb my excitement to share something good or to cover up for some bad experience by just keeping silent.

What if what I just ate was really great or what if I experienced a fast delivery or a commendable service? What if what I ordered was different from what was actually served or delivered? I know I can just post it on Zomato, but I feel the need to have it reach as many people as possible, so I thought this blog would be a good venue (although I think I only have a handful of avid readers haha!). And hey, this is my blog so I can post whatever I want, and besides, some of the food that I had were really amazing to just be sitting in my camera roll and not being shared.

Going Greek with Go Gyroz

Tucked in the nook in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Cluster D, is one unassuming restaurant that serves authentic Greek food. If you fancy Mediterranean sandwiches, Go Gyroz surely has something that will satisfy your cravings.

Nosh Friday Double Brunch at Movenpick Hotel JLT

Brunches seem to be a conventional affair for families in Dubai especially during weekends, Fridays more often. I must admit that I was overwhelmed during my first Friday Brunch experience which made me look forward to having to experience more of it. I have already experienced a couple of Friday Brunches, and each has its own way of making a lasting impression.

Got to experience another Friday brunch with Mark this time at Nosh Restaurant in Movenpick Hotel in Jumeirah Lakes Towers. When I knew that they will be offering Thai Festival for the Friday Brunch, I was more than excited since I haven't quite tried eating Thai dishes before.
