Food Truck Jam at Marasi Business Bay

Mark and I had fun when we first got to experience the Food Truck Jam at Emirates Golf Club. So when our friends from Truckers DXB invited us again to try it out at their newest location, Marasi Business Bay, I knew that we were up to another fun weekend.

Truckers by Marasi Business Bay

Food truck movement Truckers DXB and brand new development Marasi Business Bay partner to host ‘Truckers by Marasi Business Bay’. As part of Dubai Food Festival, the foodie event will take place on March 9-11 at the latest waterfront destination along the Dubai Water Canal in Business Bay.

Offering al fresco dining experience, the three-day event will feature 20 home-grown food trucks serving fusion cuisines and authentic food from all over the world. In addition to food on wheels, guests can also shop at the craft market; enjoy live performances; and participate in interactive entertainment for the whole family - from mechanical bull ride, jugglers, face painting, to kids’ cooking station and more.

Dubai Food Festival: Gastronomic Tour at Global Village

Mark and I went on a special food tour around the world in celebration of the Dubai Food Festival at the all-new and revamped Global Village. Will do a separate post about the new Global Village, watch out for that. :)

Together with other foodies, we sampled unique and delicious offerings from participating food kiosks. We started off our gastronomic tour with fresh fruits at Thai Fruits. Having been born and raised in another South East Asian country, the Philippines, I grew up having almost all the fruits that Thai Fruits offer.
