Imagine this: all-you-can-eat choice cuts of prime steaks, mouth watering ribs, a selection of Indonesian, Japanese, and Arabic grills, and fresh seafood; all grilled right before your eyes, plus so much more! Too good to be true, eh? Well apparently not!
We've been to the Fountain Restaurant for The Art of Brunch a couple of times before and we've always had a good time, so we were very much excited when our friends from Movenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai gifted Mark a complimentary dinner for two on his birthday last February, and we got to sample their all new themed Thursday night—Grill Night.
While The Art of Brunch served up a medley of international dishes, Grill Night focused on, well, what else but grilled food!
Salad and Appetizers
This is where I spotted some grilled veggies along with usual salads; and there's also a spread dedicated to different kinds of fries! Perfect to pair with the grills. :D
The Smoky and The Asian
Short ribs and grilled lamb are available in The Smokey, while Asian favorites like beef and duck skewers may be enjoyed from The Asian.

Talk about being spoilt for choice! No wonder guests are not minding the long queue.
You'll get to pick from the fresh meats and seafood, then the chef will take care of the grilling and another staff will serve it while you wait in your table.
I had been craving for grilled squid for quite a while and I'm a sucker for shrimps, so I opted for grilled squid and prawns, while Mark had some choice cuts of steaks, salmon, and lamb chops. The squid was tender and the prawns were succulent. They were delicious as is, but I loved dipping them in BBQ sauce. Mark also enjoyed his choices.
There's also a section for dips and sauces which you can mix and match according to your preference, a cheese fondue, plus some choice of soft beverages, juices, cocktails, wines, and spirits; making the grilled experience a unique for each guest.
Desserts at the Grill Night
This sections was what I was excited to know about when Mark told me that we're having grilled dinner buffet. I was trying to think what dessert they'd incorporate with the theme night. And then I saw this:
Right? Why haven't I thought of S'mores? Very clever, Movenpick, very clever! :p There's also a choice of cakes, pastries, and fresh fruits.
I helped myself with a slice of cheesecake, some fresh fruits, and s'mores!

Had yet another awesome dining experience at the Fountain Restaurant. Mark, being a bodybuilder, also helped himself with all the proteins that he can get! We highly recommend the Grill Night!
