How many of you have already witnessed the Burj Khalifa fireworks up close? Oh, I see a lot of hands. I just did for the first time just last New Year's Eve! So how was it, you may ask. It. Was. Amazing!
Let me just set things straight. My photos and videos may not give justice to my claim. Well, I'm no pro. So you won't see any nice photos of nice fireworks here as I was lured to the majestic display. But I do hope you'll still stick around. Haha! :p
We took a quick break from our hearty dinner come midnight to witness the fireworks display from no less than the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa.
It was my first time to witness the Burj Khalifa fireworks up close with my very eyes. And guess what? I got goosebumps all over! It felt so surreal! I just hope it was a bit longer though. Here's a short clip of the dreamy fireworks display.
Not factoring in the scarcity of taxis, the cramped Metro, and the long walks, I can still say that I'd love to see the fireworks again next year. Hopefully we'll score a hotel with a good view.
