Staycation at Arjaan by Rotana

While everyone else was busy starting the work week, I spent the first two days of it last week just as how I like it, with pure rest and relaxation. Special thanks to Arjaan by Rotana in Dubai Media City! :D

It was also very timely that my girl friend, Cat, and I haven't seen each other for almost half a year, so I tagged her along for our much needed catching up. And we all did this at the comfort of a luxury suite!

Arjaan by Rotana is one of Rotana's luxurious properties in Dubai. It is located in the heart of Dubai Media City, featuring luxurious home comforts with world class hospitality services.
We were warmly received at the reception and check-in was a breeze.

The hotel's Moorish design makes it a hotel like no other. Every corner is simply stunning!

The hotel is part of a multi-functional complex that also includes an upscale office tower and a courtyard with a food court.

Deluxe Two-Bedroom Apartment
With a 116-sqm floor area with two rooms, a dining room, combined sitting room, a fully furnished kitchen, saying that the apartment was spacious and luxurious is definitely an understatement.

Complimentary tea and coffee making facility was provided and there were also some candies, chocolates, nuts, and drinks in the mini bar with corresponding fees.

The living room is complete with an ample sitting room with comfortable sofa, a multi-channel satellite television, and DVD player...

...and our most favorite part of the room, the balcony with a stunning sea view and overlooking Palm Jumeirah!

The balcony is where Cat and I spent most of the time during our stay. We spent the afternoon catching up over some chips and coffee. We were also able to catch the awesome sunset!

The highly luxurious bedrooms are complete with king size bed, a multi-channel satellite television, personal in-room safe, telephone lines and high speed internet (wired and wireless). One room has a balcony with a lovely sea view while the other room is overlooking the pool.

I'm a sucker for comfy beds and soft pillows and duvets, and I'm glad that every Rotana hotels that I've been to didn't fail me. I was so lured into the bed that I immediately fell asleep after a long relaxing day.

The clean and spacious bathrooms also had the basic toiletries, towels, and bath robes. On the room with balcony, the bathroom also has a walk-in rain head shower. The apartment also has a guest toilet, perfect for when you have guests over.

Recreation
Aside from a relaxing stay, Arjaan by Rotana also offers recreation for guests to enjoy. They have Bodylines Fitness & Wellness Club which provides guests unlimited access to latest cardio and weight training equipment in a relaxed ambiance. Towel service and refreshments are also available.

The temperature-controlled swimming pool is child- and adult-friendly alike. A lifeguard is also on duty to assist you and towels are provided for guests.

While the pool and its view is already captivating at daytime, it's even more awesome at night. Cat and I took a quick dip before calling it a night.

They also have a kids pool. Baby sitting service is also available upon request.

It is evident how all Rotana hotels aim to provide a comfortable stay for guests and also make sure that kids have fun and enjoy their stay. Arjaan by Rotana have a Kids Zone which is equipped with children entertainment facilities.

Dining
Feeling hungry but also like staying in? No worries! Arjaan by Rotana's in-room dining services can deliver all your favorite dishes from thier regular outlets right to your door! You can also indulge in the home-style dishes of Arabesque or simply relax with a light snack or sandwich.

Situated by the picturesque pool, the Veranda, is a snack bar in a beautiful gazebo which offers all kinds of mocktails, light snacks, and a wide selection of delectable ice cream flavors! They also have a kids menu.

Complimentary breakfast and dinner for two at The Arabesque Cafe were included in our stay. breakfast and lunch buffets are served daily, along with delicious Friday brunches, and feature tantalizingly delicious Arabian home-style cooking and continental cuisine. Diners have the option of having dinner served a la carte or partaking in their delicious worldly buffets during the special Themed Cuisine Nights. Highly-commendable Customer Service
I have already mentioned before about how evident the remarkable customer service is in every Rotana properties that I've been to. This too was what we immediately experienced when we got to the hotel. The staff at the entrance greeted us with a smile and wished us a wonderful stay. Same is true with the staff who made our check-in a breeze.

Little personalized touches like the note from the general manager and complimentary fruits and nuts were just one of the examples how Rotana values their guests.

Smiles and greetings also never failed to come our way whenever we meet a staff in the hotel's vicinity. Same hospitality was also showered on us during our breakfast and dinner at the Arabesque Cafe.

We felt pampered and well-taken care of even just for a short time. Our experience was nothing short of amusing, luxurious, and relaxing. Arjaan by Rotana definitely definitely gave Cat and I our much needed R&R! :)
