Complimentary breakfast for two at The Gallery was included in our weekend staycation at Burjuman Arjaan by Rotana. Our luxurious and homey stay was coupled with a hearty international breakfast the following day.
The Gallery is easily accessible from BurJuman Arjaan by Rotana's main entrance and from the BurJuman Centre. The restaurant has that cozy and casually elegant ambience which was still at par with the hotel's facilities.
The all-day dining restaurant offers a selection of international cuisines in the buffet area situated at the far end of the restaurant. It includes the world's most famous flavors from Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Mark was raving about their French Toast and Hash Brown, and I must say that I loved both of them too. The French Toast had that mild sweetness and milky-buttery flavor, which I guess are what captivated Mark's palates. I liked eating them with the Chicken Sausage and Turkey Bacon. I also enjoyed dipping the Plain Paratha into the Vegetable Jalfrezi.
Mark wasn't up for it when we were served with the Foul Mudammas. It was my first time to try this Arabic specialty and was surprised about how tasty it was. I was gobbling it up non-stop! The crunchiness of the fresh onions and tomatoes was enveloped by the velvety beans in every bite. The strong flavors of the chopped parsley and paprika were tamed down by the savory and tangy soup and yogurt. I can also taste a hint of olive oil in it.
Every spoonful has that mildly sweet, spicy, savory, and tangy kick. Not sure though if it's the right way of eating it, but I enjoy scooping it using the paratha. Yum! Oh I'm drooling now. :-P~
Another personal favorite is the Chili Labneh. I love labneh but I hate anything spicy, let alone red chilies, so my heart, no, make that my palates, were somehow torn when this was served. I wanted to have its raw taste so I grabbed a spoon and scraped a bit of it, and yes it was to strong for my liking. But I eventually enjoyed it when I ate it with paratha. There's really not much of that spiciness, which I loved. There were some occasional stings from the chili which were tolerable. :D
I've already mentioned how highly-commendable the customer service was and we again got to experience that at The Gallery.
Mylene was all-smiles when she welcomed us and ushered us to our seats. I also thought it was such a kind gesture for her to ask us if we wanted some coffee or something to drink while leading us to our table. Tyron was very prompt in cleaning out our empty plates. Abigail was enthusiastic when she let us try the Chili Labneh. Cletus, the Restaurant Manager, was so thoughtful when he offered to make Foul Mudammas for me.
I just love how the warmness of the staff was consistent all throughout our stay. Mark and I may have had different opinions regarding the food, but we both agreed about how exemplary the service was.

We were guests at The Gallery and our meal was complimentary, but as always, this post is sincerely written and all views and opinions are my own.
