Kids Are Kings Family Brunch at the Fish Market in Radisson Blu

Mark and I had such a fun experience during our dhow cruise dinner care of Radisson Blu Hotel in Deira. So when I got another invite from Radisson Blu, I knew that it would be something not worth missing out on.

We were again invited by Radisson Blu Hotel in Dubai Deira Creek a couple of weeks back to try out their Kids Are Kings Family Brunch at the Fish Market, which offers a delectable sea-worthy selection inspired by Fish Markets of Thailand.

Mark was still nursing an injured leg, so I had to walk him through the buffet spread first so he can choose. I was only expecting plates of seafood not until I saw the rest of the spread. The brunch is apparently a collaboration among Radisson Blu's restaurants and Fish Market is just one of the hosts.

With a selection of dishes from the Japanese, Arabic, Thai, Italian, and Indian cuisine, the whole family will definitely enjoy this brunch.

Dad's cravings for succulent meats will surely be satisfied at these stations. You can take your pick of chicken, pecking duck, beef, and lamb cooked and prepared Middle Eastern-style.

The salad station is where mom's fondness of fresh and healthy food will surely be satisfied.

With a choice of salad shots, cold salads, fresh veggies, plus a variety of salad dressings, the salad station sure is a haven for health buffs.

But if you really want to indulge, let your guard down and be sure to make room for oriental favorites like Mongolian Bowl, Japanese Tempura, and Sushi!

The fresh shrimp is dipped in a light batter and then deep-fried and cooked to perfection. There were also some vegetable tempura and of course the very tasty tempura sauce to go with it.

There were a variety of sushi which Mark and I made sure to indulge in. :D

The Mongolian Station has a variety of vegetables, spices, and meats that you may also mix and match to come up with a great tasting Mongolian Bowl.

Grandparents' cravings for freshly baked breads will surely be satisfied as they indulge and pair it with the assorted cheese.

A station for pizza and pasta is also available.

Radisson Blu serves up a medley of mouth-watering desserts, from cakes, and mousse...

...to fresh fruits, chocolate fondue, marshmallows, and candies...

...and all down to the native delicacies like dates, puddings, and other local desserts and pastries.

I'm sure all dads, moms, teens, and grandparents will surely enjoy the above dishes, but wait 'til you see what's in store for the kids!

The kids will surely have a blast at the Kid's Station where child-friendly dishes are served--from fried chicken to hotdogs, and different sweets that will tickle a little kid's fancy.

There's also a station for crepes, ice creams, and shaved ice with fresh fruits, sauces, gummies, and sprinkles that will surely thrill the young ones and the young at heart even more!

There's also a popcorn and cotton candy machine that immediately delighted the kid in me! :D

Also, to keep the little ones entertained, Radisson Blu sets up kiddie activities in the area like face painting, balloon twisting, and photo booth.

And as with any other extensive buffet spreads, it took us a while to decide on what to have. I wasn't able to get a bite of the sushi in our brunch at Anantara because Mark ate what I got, so I made sure to get enough for both of us.

I guess what I got was a little too much that we both got full from just the sushi plate. Haha!

I'm also a sucker for shrimp tempura so I made sure to get some. I was also craving for pizza so I got some slices, hence, the weird combo in my plate. :p

I liked that the tempura wasn't too oily. The batter was also very light which made the shrimp's taste stand out. The yummy pizza slices definitely satisfied my craving!

For the mains, I got pecking duck rolls, roast beef, steamed veggies, and creamy potatoes. The beef and potatoes were divine!

Mark opted for the local cuisine and asked me to get chicken biryani, beef kebab, chicken tikka, and Arabic salad for his mains.

And of course, we made sure to make room for desserts. I was craving for ice cream and got strawberry and vanilla with strawberry syrup to finish off my hearty brunch. Mark is a sucker for sweets so the dessert plate was all for him.

The good food was already a given. What made our dining experience more fun and memorable was the exemplary customer service from no less than Ghani, the same server who attended to us during our dinner cruise also care of Radisson Blu. I knew that he looked familiar but I can't seem to remember until he confirmed that he knew us too. Apparently, he got transferred from the dhow to Fish Market. He even vividly remembered where Mark and I got seated in the dhow during our dinner cruise. I also finally got to meet Nikol who invited us on Radisson Blu's behalf. :D
