Shake Shack in Mall of the Emirates

Mark decided to bring me to Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates one fine weekend. Will get into the details of our adventure in my next post. :) Before wandering into the snow, Mark chose to have some snacks first. He has been raving about Shake Shack ever since he first got to try their burgers so I wasn't surprised when his feet and his (always-)hungry stomach led us to this burger joint. And although I know he is on a strict diet as he is preparing for an upcoming competition, it suddenly became his cheat day! Haha!

SmokeShack™ Single - 38.00 AED

SmokeShack™ Double, SmokeShack™ Single, and Cheese Fries

Ordering was a breeze but choosing what to have, well at least for me, was sort of a torture. Everything in the menu seemed to be heavenly! Good thing the staff that attended to us was nice (and patient) enough to deal with our undecided minds. :p

And because I have no clue of what to have, I just ordered what Mark had, he got the SmokeShack™ Double, but I decided to get only the single patty for myself. We also had the Cheese Fries, which also got an equal amount of raves from Mark, plus lemonade and diet Pepsi for our drinks.

I immediately dug into this pile of goodness as soon as Mark put the tray down (and of course after I'm done taking photos :p). I love that the fries are 100% free of artificial trans fats and cooked in 100% soybean oil. At least that's less the guilt. :p

Topped with a special blend of cheddar and American cheese sauce, the crispy, crunchy, salty potato-y goodness of these thick crinkle cut fries are highly addictive. It was so enslaving that I was really fighting the urge to get another order! Now, you have been warned! :D

Cheese Fries - 19.00 AED

Now on to the star of the meal, the burgers! I love that their burgers are made of 100% all-natural freshly-ground Angus beef. I'm not a fan of medium well beef because I hate seeing blood still oozing out, fortunately, there was none in my burger even if it was cooked medium well. A flavorful juice ooze out instead in every bite.

This savory burger with melt-in-your-mouth cheese topped with all-natural applewood smoked bacon, chopped cherry pepper, and ShackSauce, sandwiched in soft buns, definitely deserves Mark's raves! It. Was. Soooooo good!!!!!

I felt like I died and went to burger heaven with my SmokeShack™ Single, what more with Mark's SmokeShack™ Double! I'd definitely have to have that next time! Oh, I'm drooling right now! :p~

Although I'm not as strict as Mark when it comes to watching my food intake, I still see to it that I eat healthy. And so whenever it's Mark's cheat day, I definitely am the one who's more than excited. Haha!

Good thing Mark chose to have his cheat day on that weekend. Dining at Shake Shack was definitely a good way to jump-start our Ski Dubai adventure. Aside from the heavenly burgers and equally delectable fries, Shake Shack also offers hotdogs, custards, and shakes which we still have yet to try. Uhmm, Mark, is it your cheat day yet?! :D
