We had a dinner feast at home last Sunday, May 12. And just like last year, we again had a double celebration -- celebration of Mother's Day and an advanced celebration of Jaoey's 11th birthday. :)
Most of the dishes on our feast were the birthday boy's requests. He specifically pointed out that he wanted to have beef caldereta, lechon kawali, fried chicken, and spaghetti.
And as always, the feast was prepared by no less than my dad.
Gia and I also had our share of dishes to prepare. She was in-charged of the grilled stuffed squid, while I took care of the spaghetti.
For our dessert, Gia and I made some Queso Mango Float. Daddy also bought Red Ribbon's Dedication Cake.
Mommy invited over a few friends, while Jaoey invited our cousins Joaquin and Aya, and Tita Celia.
The feast was extended up until midnight with some rounds of drinks and some videoke.
And once again, we all enjoyed our dinner feast! Special thanks to daddy for the yummy food! :)

Wow too much food. That's the great thing about Filipino celebration, the wide variety of food that we can set on our table. I miss everything.
