August Birthday Celebrators :)

The first two Sundays of August mean birthday feasts for our family. :D Last August 5, my mom celebrated her 49th birthday. Yup, she doesn't mind having her age published here because she looks way younger! :D

She doesn't look her age, does she?

Since the food that we have during any feasts is always cooked by our dear daddy, we always do a merienda-to-dinner celebration to make time for the preparations.

My mom actually doesn't want something extravagant so these are what we had for her birthday feast.

Her guests were also just limited to her childhood friends (elementary classmates I think).

The celebration started with a prayer and blowing of the birthday candles and then the feast began.

They also belted their voices out up until the evening. :)

The following Sunday, August 12, it was my grandmother's turn to celebrate her birthday.

We bought some cake and headed to Tita Tessa's house at QC and celebrated my lola's birthday.

Tita Tessa cooked pork sinigang and bought pancit malabon, pork sisig, and crispy pata for lunch. She also served some fruits to balance out all the cholesterol from our food. :p
