Mongkok

Went to The Medical City at Sta. Lucia East Grandmall with my mom, dad, and Jaoey for another check-up with my Gastroenterologist and OB-Gyne last Saturday. We strolled around and shopped and then had lunch at Mongkok.

Jaoey wanted fried chicken, as always, so we got Mongkok's Fried Soy Chicken. The chicken was cooked just right, it was crispy and juicy. Tasted like Max's. :)

Daddy wanted some soup so we got the Seafood Noodle Soup. There was a generous amount of shrimps and cream dory fillets in the soup. The noodles were also good, even Jaoey liked it. :)

Mommy and I then took charge of the dimsum. :) She chose chicken feet, while I got Siomai and Hakao. :p

The Chicken Feet was ok. The chicken was tender, it also had a distinctn taste which I believe came from the bell pepper.

Chicken Feet with Taosi - Php 75

Siomai will always be in our order whenever we dine at Mongkok, or at any Chinese restos. Perfect as appetizer, it also goes well with the Yang Chow Fried Rice.

The Hakao is another hit for us. I love the crunchiness and sweetness of the shrimps. This too is one of my favorites! :D

And of course, the meal will not be complete without the Yang Chow Fried Rice. It had a generous amount of shrimps, eggs, and ham I think. :p It's not the best yang chow ever, but our family simply loves it. :)

Mongkok is one of the restaurants that we frequent. This actually is one of my daddy's favorite restaurants. And as always, we again got out of Mongkok happy and satisfied. :)
