After our late night dinner at Merge Point, we were up early the next morning for another adventure, well another food trip adventure I should say. *drools*
We first had our breakfast (Vigan Longganisa, eggs, and fried rice) at the hotel...
...and then had a refreshing dip in the pool.
An extraordinary experience was what we had came lunch time. We had a scrumptious lunch at the farm. We feasted over authentic Vigan delicacies...
while enjoying the cool breeze under the shades of the trees.
First on the menu was the Lechon.
Next was the Pancit Canton, which is just like what my dad usually cooks.
We also had the Hungkwe which we all loved! It is whole roasted chicken (marinated in Chinese-style sauce),
stuffed with quail eggs, pork tenderloin strips, pork skin, mushrooms, and veggies.
Also present was the Lomo, a soup made from pork broth with spring onions and pork tenderloin strips.
We also had the Burudibud and Sinanglaw. Burudibud is sautéed Malunggay fruit with ground pork,
and Sinanglaw is the Ilocanos' version of Papaitan.
Green chili and tomatoes with onions as condiments are also always present in Ilocano feasts.
We roamed around the farm after lunch and found some cool stuffs. :) There were mango trees which bore huge fruits and we also came across plantations of different kinds of veggies. But the most exciting part of our farm experience was when we got to eat fresh honey!
Aside from having a delectable lunch and seeing some farm stuffs, we also enjoyed climbing the trees!
kainggit naman ng mga pics d2, parang gusto ko din puntahan.. nakakagutom yung mga pagkain.. :P
