My Dad is fond of giving me lectures about love, work, and almost every lessons about life. Each time I'm with him, may it be on our way to work or on our way home, he never fails to share his learned lessons to me. Most people think that my dad is sort of the serious and strict type, but he's the total opposite..He's bubbly and fun to be with and will give everything that will make his children happy..and I still become fascinated everytime he opens up things to me.
Just last Thursday, on our way home, we got into a topic about relationships. He was sharing a story on how he and my mom came to where they are right now. I never really got everything that he said (which he keeps on repeating each time we have small talks! haha!) but I must admit that one lesson really struck me the most. It was when he said:"It doesn't matter how compatible you are;
What matters most is how you settle your incompatibilities."
I was really touched when I heard this from him. I will never really forget what he said. Mainly because it really is the key to a strong relationship, and, because of his quote, I made it in today's *Top 10! Thanks to My Mushy Daddy! ^_^
